About FIBRE & FORGE
 

Fibre & Forge is a little farm in beautiful Glen Valley, Abbotsford BC, Canada. We raise a small flock of fibre sheep as well as heritage breed chickens and turkeys.

Growing up in Vancouver, Beatriz always dreamed of living on a farm, but convinced it was an unrealistic dream she pursued a degree in Design instead. She’d just about given up on the dream for good when, out for a drive one Sunday morning, they saw the perfect property with a little For Sale sign at the front gate. In less than a month, the property was theirs and Fibre & Forge was born. Now she spends her days surrounded by nature and the animals she loves.

Glen continues to work off-farm but helps out with the heavy lifting on weekends.

There’s been a pretty steep learning curve but they’ve loved every moment of it. It’s an indescribable pleasure to raise these sheep and then be able to use their fibre to produce goods that can be traced back to each individual.

We are incredibly lucky and truly grateful.
