LILY + LIZA + LIBBY
LILY + LIZA + LIBBY
BREED | SHETLAND + BFL
This yarn comes from Lily and her 2 daughters Liza (born 2013) and Libby (born 2020). Lily and Liza are both pure Shetland. Libby is a Shetland/BFL. None of them wants anything to do with people, not even if there’s grain involved. Shetland sheep are a primitive breed dating back over 1000 years. They’re known to be hardy and self-reliant, and these three are definitely true to breed. Lily and Liza are a very dark brown/black and Libby is white. Mixing the three fleeces together produced a tweed/heathered-looking yarn.
